André is the managing partner and the Director of the Technology Industry Practice in the Atlanta office of Grant Thornton.  With over 30 years of public accounting experience, André specializes in serving a broad range of entrepreneurial companies. His industry expertise includes manufacturing/distribution companies and technology oriented companies.  His experience includes serving as audit partner on a broad range of public and privately held manufacturing/distribution and technology companies; providing clients with business advice on domestic and international issues including business planning and corporate financings; due diligence assistance to domestic and foreign companies in mergers and acquisitions; and as member of the firm’s National Capital Markets Group-assisting clients in raising capital by way of both private placements and public offerings.

 

André received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of London, 1968, with honors and a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Zimbabwe in 1975.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Canadian institute of Chartered Accountants, the Ontario Society of Chartered Accountants, and the Zimbabwean society of Chartered Accountants.  Additionally, he is the past president of the Canadian American Society of the Southeastern United States, a founding trustee of the Atlanta International School, Former Chairman of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the advisory board of the M.I.T. Enterprise Forum.
