Earlier this month on April 9, Conexx’s Lifestyle Connector, hosted an evening event focused on Israeli innovations in the hospitality industry. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the tech forward country would apply that same sense of innovation to a hotel stay. And hearing Ronen Nissenbaum, President and CEO of Dan Hotels, an Israeli hotel chain expanding its international presence, speak more on the topic was captivating.
Dan Hotels has pioneered technology innovation starting with its concept hotel located in Midtown, Tel Aviv. To encourage guests to socialize and mingle, the hotel incorporates comfort, technology, and a relaxed ambiance created by street artists replicating their outdoor works in the hotel decor. The hotel’s Link App, which each guest can download, controls multiple functions across the hotel including check-in/out, access to room, room service orders, TV, temperature, and access to Internet.
Dan Hotels, as a brand, caters to both tourists and Israelis. It was shared that overall tourism in Israel is at a historic high with the country anticipating 4 million visitors in 2018. The company just recently opened a hotel in Bengaluru, India, connecting the Israeli community of technology innovation with their counterparts in Silicon Valley of India.
