Randall Foster founded and currently manages Vumii Imaging Inc., a seven-year old US company that develops and markets specialized day / night surveillance camera systems that use thermal (infrared) and innovative near-infrared directed energy (Lasers and LEDs) to produce video with extraordinary details in zero light at ranges out to and beyond 4000 meters. These technologies have been deployed at airports, seaports, oil/gas infrastructure, water and power utilities, military bases, high-security government sites, city-wide surveillance, and nuclear power sites in many countries.   Under Foster’s leadership, Vumii has won numerous corporate and technology awards.  In October 2010, Foster managed the sale of Vumii to Israel-based Opgal Optronics Industries, and he currently serves as the President and CEO of Vumii, a subsidiary of Opgal.

Prior to Vumii, Foster was the President of BenchMark Consulting International, a management consulting firm specializing in change management, organizational design, and profitability software for commercial banking industry clients.  Foster led the company’s strategic and tactical initiatives, including sales, marketing, finance, operations and organizational planning.

He completed the prestigious Jerome B. Fisher Management and Technology dual-degree program at the University of Pennsylvania, and received a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering (cum laude) and a B.S. in Economics (cum laude) from the Wharton School of Business with concentrations in management and finance.  Foster also completed the Wharton Executive Program on Marketing Innovative Products & Services.  He is an active angel investor, serves on the board of several technology companies.  He also serves on the Executive Committee of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce.
