After swift and comprehensive planning by a MarCom Taskforce, and approval by the Executive Committee, the new Marketing & Communications (MarCom) Committee has been established and is preparing to get started early in the New Year.
As reported at our recent Board Meeting, the MarCom Committee has a three-tiered membership: Strategic, Advocacy and Creative. The committee has two immediate assignments that will engage all three tiers. The Strategic group will be working on the overall goal to create the Chamber as a premium brand; a special organization that is in high demand, both to join and through which to connect between Israeli and Southeastern U.S. businesses.
Our Advocacy and Creative groups will soon be working on ways to increase sponsorship revenue for the next Eagle Star Gala in May. We are looking at the idea of naming rights for awards categories as well as, perhaps, a primary name sponsor for the event itself.
