Just recently, Hertz Israel “(Kesher Rent A Car”) has signed a five-year franchise agreement with the international car rental companies Dollar and Thrifty, part of The Hertz Corporation.
This is the first time that a rental company in Israel has been granted a multi-brand franchise, resulting in car rental customers having an increasingly wider choice of vehicles and services, suited to their specific needs.
Hertz Israel caters for customers who desire to travel in premium comfort and style, while Thrifty provides vehicles appealing to adventure seekers and Dollar features convenient, no-frills options.
All car rental customers from the three different brands will be serviced in Israel through Hertz Israel customer service center. Dollar and Thrifty Israel’s services and products are available to international and local customers via their various global channels, including travel agencies and websites

In 2017 Hertz Israel won the first place in the IAA tender to rent a car at Ben-Gurion Airport and will pay NIS 4 million for six years. Hertz Israel’s win guarantees her the right to set up the rental point for collection and return at Terminal 3, the big terminal at Ben-Gurion Airport, Replacing Avis and Eldan at the preferred location
The other six companies that won the tender in category B will be allowed to hand over cars in Terminal 3, but the cars will be returned by customers only in Terminal 1 area , and the passengers will be transferred by shuttle, which takes an extra 1-1.5 hours .
