Tel Aviv-based Gamasonic, with its US headquarters in Atlanta, began selling its line of solar lamps in 900 Home Depot stores in a test program this past spring, and following the success of the initial launch, the Atlanta-based D.I.Y. retailer is planning to extend the line into an additional 800 stores for a total of 1700 stors nationwide next April.  New products are also being considered to be added in 2013, according to Itay Parness, Gamasonic’s Vice President Sales & Marketing.

A leading company in the field of solar charged and rechargeable lights, Gamasonic is producing a wide range of products incorporating plastics, stainless steel, electronics and OEM products in various markets.  Established in 1985 as a manufacturer and marketer of emergency lights and other electronic products, the company has most recently focused on the solar lighting market, developing more than 60 innovative products and providing a free energy alternative to existing exterior lighting. The products are sold in 21 countries worldwide.

“We are looking to strategic partnerships for growth.  With patented technology and significant penetration to the pioneered solar powered exterior lighting industry, Gamasonic USA affords investors and strategic partners unparalleled potential for rapid growth,” Parness added.
