Seven Israeli technology companies are exhibiting at the American Water Works Association’s Water Security Conference in Nashville from September 11-13. They are traveling from Israel to Tennessee in order to reach new markets and share their specialized knowledge and solutions with state and local governments. The conference is being held at the Gaylord Opryland hotel, and the companies are exhibiting in an Israel National Pavilion located at booths 100-107 sponsored by Israel NEWTech, a national government program promoting the Israeli water technology sector, and the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute.
Participating companies include Atlantium, Blue I, Checklight, EZPack, Miltel, Universal Link, and Whitewater Security, all offering unique solutions designed to protect water systems from intentional and unintentional security breaches. “Throughout its history, Israel has faced a variety of challenges to its physical security and to its water supply. As a result, we have developed a remarkable and innovative cluster of water technology companies,” said Israeli Consul for Economic Affairs, Yariv Becher.
In Nashville, the Israelis will be meeting with companies and municipalities including high level executives from the Nashville Metro Water Department. They hope to use this popular conference as a chance to gain a foothold in this sometimes difficult but promising market.
