I have been involved with Conexx since February 2016, primarily for networking and business development purposes. At first I had an individual membership and then my company became members. I have also helped with the young professionals group and have lent some strategic marketing advice when asked. My firm, ARPR, represents cybersecurity and fintech companies from around the world, so it made a lot of sense for me to join an organization that has so many connections to the numerous cyber and fintech companies coming out of Israel.
As someone who has worked in technology for the majority of my career, I was well aware of all the great innovation coming out of Israel prior to joining Conexx. However, generating business from Israeli tech companies was not part of my company’s growth strategy until we became involved with Conexx. Now, we see opportunity to partner with lots of amazing Israeli technology companies, especially those looking to beachhead on the east coast and those in need of go-to-market marketing and PR support in North America.
I am the vice president of client service at ARPR, a tech PR agency that propels global leaders to #MakeNews and #DriveLeads. I also serve as the director of our cybersecurity practice group (we also have fintech, martech, mobility, healthIT and mission critical practice groups). ARPR was founded in 2012 because both the public relations agency model and the PR industry were broken, and great clients and employees were getting the short end of the stick.
In less than 5 years, we’ve emerged as a top 30 tech PR agency in the U.S. Our culture, coupled with our high standard of excellence and a commitment to innovating PR, has resulted in a diverse portfolio of more than 20 leading tech companies headquartered across four continents. Currently, ARPR is also pioneering a Future of PR initiative. Check out futureofpr.org to learn more.
On a personal level, I live with my wife Jess and our dog Roxy at the intersection of Buckhead and Midtown. Neither of us are Atlanta natives, so we frequently head out of town on the weekends to visit family and friends in Florida, New York and California. We are a house divided – she’s a Florida Gator and I am a Florida State Seminole – but we collectively share in grief and disappointment over the Miami Dolphins. We also like to cook and travel the world.
Conexx has opened up doors for me professionally. In fact, we will soon be celebrating a one year anniversary as the agency of record for an Israeli cybersecurity company. Overall my time with Conexx has been rewarding.
