Movius Utilizes Cellrox Technology

Johns Creek, Georgia-based Movius Interactive Corporation, a global leader in value-added communication services, has created myIdentities together with Cellrox Ltd., a Tel Aviv-based specialist in mobile BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) that deals with the recent trend of employees bringing personally-owned mobile devices to their place of work, and using those devices to access privileged company resources such as email, file servers, and databases.

“This collaboration with Movius is a great example of the requirements of the telecommunication and enterprise markets today, exhibiting strong demand for solutions that enable multiple personas on a single device. Carriers all over the world, as well as enterprises, can benefit from offering extended device use and catering to the BYOD trend, ” said Cellrox CEO Omer Eiferman.

The new solution will allow service providers to bill for separate voice, SMS and data usage on the same device regardless of the end user’s primary carrier in the wireless, wire line or cable carrier.  Each workspace or persona keeps all applications and services distinct by preventing one identity from having access to information from others, increasing end user privacy and security.

myIdentities provides individuals and enterprises with a simpler, unified communication solution which addresses the vital need for security, privacy, convenience and accessibility in the evolving business, personal and social environments.  End users can segment their personal and social identities from their professional environment and manage them on one device,” added Amit Modi, Senior Vice President and GM of Products and Technology at Movius.
