Promisec Wins State of Alabama Contract

Rishon LeZion-based Promisec has been awarded a contract with the State of Alabama for their Endpoint Security Compliance Software(ESCS) project in a competition with a wide and varying number of industry solutions for potentially more than 400,000 endpoints statewide.

“We are committed to offering innovative technological approaches to complex issues.  Throughout our organization, we are driven by finding the shortest and most efficient solution to any problem,” said Amir Kotler, Promisec’s CEO.

Promisec provides unique agentless solutions that deliver unprecedented visibility that guarantees 100% accuracy for the IT business deliverables of service management, compliance, and power management.  Their patented technology enables IT executives to increase the effectiveness of controlling servers and endpoints by optimizing the strength of existing IT solutions and processes.  Customers include Forbes Global 2000 companies and other organizations in the manufacturing and service industries as well as government and health care institutions.

“The advantage of selecting Promisec’s solutions is that despite agency independence in oversight and critical needs, we must all enforce the same statewide and Federal security edicts such as HIPAA/HITECH, PCI and GLBA 501(b).  Promisec was the only vendor we looked at whose 100% agentless solutions satisfied our endpoint security compliance and power management needs — from security enhancement to inventory control, from asset discovery to compliance monitoring — and a huge money-saver, power management.  A single vendor solution goes a long way toward creating a cohesive operating environment — which ultimately produces even greater cost-savings over time,” said Jack Doane, Alabama’s Chief Information Officer.
