Randall Foster – Focus Investment Banking LLC

Viola-Group www.viola-group.com has engaged Randall Foster, an AICC executive committee member and a Managing Director at Focus Investment Bank to be its North American representative, seeking limited partner investors for Viola’s $100million Partners Fund.  Viola Group is Israel’s premier high-tech private equity fund family ($2.2 Billion+ and 100+ companies in portfolio), co-founded by Shlomo Dovrat, Harel Beit-On and Avi Zeevi in 2000, and later joined by Jonathan Kolber and others. Viola operates three institutionally oriented funds (Venture Capital, Venture Debt, and Growth Equity), offering exposure to private Israel technology companies in their respective asset classes.  Given the typical portfolio companies are global in sales with customer-bases in US, Europe, and Asia, these funds provide professionally managed exposure to the global technology market and are not particularly correlated with an Israel domestic market.   Viola’s Partner’s Fund is a unique private investor oriented fourth fund that aims for multi-asset exposure by functioning as a feeder fund to the three institutional investor-oriented Viola funds, by enabling special situation investments that don’t fit the three institutional fund parameters, and by direct co-investments along with other Viola funds. “After 20+ years as an entrepreneur and business builder, I joined Focus Investment Bank last year to leverage my experience in mergers & acquisitions and private company investments.” said Randall Foster. “Given my most recent ten years bridging the gap between American and Israel businesses, it was logical for me to pursue Israel-related businesses as a significant portion of my investment banking client base.”
