The Southeastern Medical Device Association (SEMDA) has been selected as the 2014 recipient of the Eagle Star Community Partner Award. The Award is given in recognition of the achievements of an organization, agency and/or institution that has served as an exemplary strategic partner with AICC and demonstrated inspirational and strong leadership to further the cause of U.S.-Israel business and economic relationships.
SEMDA is a deserving awardee for its leadership in the medical device industry providing a unique resource and networking opportunity for medical device companies, inventors, physicians, and investors. It has serves as a true partner actively supporting the work of the American-Israel Chamber of Commerce Southeast Region. Many of the officers of AICCSE have served in senior leadership capacities with SEMDA.
The Southeastern Medical Device Association (SEMDA) is a non-profit trade association that supports and promotes medical device companies in the Southeast. Created in 2004, the association is widely recognized as a unique resource and networking opportunity for medical device companies, inventors, physicians, and investors interested in accelerating the growth of the medical device industry in the Southeast.
Through quarterly and members-only meetings, as well as its highly regarded Investor Conference, SEMDA meets the needs of members of the medical device community. SEMDA provides a forum where members can share information, hear top speakers and meet with individuals who can assist them in growing their business.
