Simon Henley is a native of Cape Town, South Africa. He has a rich, diverse international background leading business development, organizational transformations and process improvements for Medtronic and The Salvation Army.
As hospitals address new legislative reform mandates, and face cuts to select reimbursement rates, they are being forced to focus on increasing efficiency and reducing expenses. Responding to these challenges, Medtronic CVG (Cardiac and Vascular Group) created the Strategic Account Management team that focuses exclusively on delivering a cross-business portfolio of products and services to cardiac and vascular-focused hospital administrators. As part of a small experienced group of consultants within Medtronic’s CVG Strategic Account Management team, Simon is currently one of seven Lean Six Sigma Black Belts who is focused on leading innovative process improvement projects that help address the economic and operational needs of hospital/practice administrators and key physician stakeholders throughout the United States. Medtronic’s Cardiac and Vascular Group is comprised of the Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management, Structural Heart, Endovascular Innovations, Peripheral, Coronary, and Renal Denervation.
